This Privacy Policy explains how PocketLabs ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the NumberQuest mobile application (the "App") available on Google Play. By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

In short: NumberQuest does not ask you to create an account or sign in, and we do not collect your name, email, or other personal contact details. Your game progress and settings are stored only on your device. The App shows ads through Google AdMob, and Google's advertising services may collect device and advertising identifiers to serve those ads.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

None. NumberQuest has no login, account, registration, or contact form. We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, or similar personal information.

Information stored on your device

Your gameplay data — such as puzzle progress, coins, hints, unlocked themes, statistics, achievements, and settings — is saved locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to us and is removed if you uninstall the App or clear its data.

Information collected automatically by advertising services

NumberQuest is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. To provide and measure ads, Google and its partners may automatically collect information such as:

Your device's advertising identifier (e.g., Google Advertising ID);
General device information (model, operating system version, language, coarse region);
Your IP address and approximate location derived from it;
Interaction data related to ads (such as ad views and taps).

This collection is performed by Google's advertising SDK, not by us directly. We do not receive your advertising identifier or IP address in a way that identifies you personally.

2. How Information Is Used

To display advertisements (including rewarded and interstitial ads) within the App;
To measure ad performance and limit how often the same ad is shown;
To help detect and prevent fraud and abuse of the advertising system;
To keep your game progress and preferences available on your device.

NumberQuest contains no in-app purchases. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following third-party services, which have their own privacy policies:

Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads — advertising. See Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Google Play Services — required to distribute and run the App on Android.

4. Advertising and Your Choices

You can control ad personalization and tracking in several ways:

In-app consent: where required (for example, in the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland), the App shows a consent request the first time you play, letting you choose how your data is used for ads. You can be asked again if your choices change.
Reset or limit your advertising ID: on Android, go to Settings › Google › Ads to reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization.

5. Data Storage and Retention

Game data is retained locally on your device until you delete it (by clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App). Information collected by Google's advertising services is retained according to Google's privacy policy. We do not operate our own servers that store your personal data.

6. Children's Privacy

NumberQuest is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR (Europe/UK) or the CCPA (California), including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to opt out of personalized advertising. Because we do not hold account-based personal data about you, you can exercise most choices directly on your device (see Section 4) or by contacting us. Requests concerning data held by Google should be directed to Google using their privacy tools.

8. Data Security

Your game data stays on your device and is protected by your device's own security. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Users

The App is available in multiple regions. Advertising services provided by Google may process data in countries other than your own, in accordance with Google's privacy policy.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
