This Privacy Policy explains how the Popnova: Chain Reaction mobile app ("the App", "we", "us") handles information. It is an offline, single/multi-device strategy game. We built it to work without requiring an account, login, or personal profile of any kind.
The App does not require you to create an account and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information. There is no user profile, no chat, and no user-generated content that is uploaded or shared.
To remember your preferences and stats between sessions, the App saves the following directly on your device (never transmitted to us):
This data is stored using standard Android local storage and is removed automatically if you uninstall the App.
The App displays ads served through Google AdMob. These are a banner, occasional full-screen ads between matches, and optional rewarded videos that you choose to watch in exchange for extra hints. Rewarded videos are never forced — the game is fully playable without watching any.
AdMob and its partners may automatically collect certain technical information (such as device identifiers, general location, and app usage data) to serve and measure ads, in accordance with their own privacy policies:
You can also limit ad personalization through your device's ad settings (e.g. Settings → Google → Ads on Android).
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the App shows a consent form the first time you open it, using Google's User Messaging Platform. No advertising requests are made until you have answered it. Your choice determines whether the ads you see are personalised.
You can change your answer at any time from Settings → Ad Privacy Options inside the App. That option is shown only where these rules apply.
The App has no backend server of its own. Gameplay, settings and statistics stay on your device and are never uploaded to us.
After you win a match, the App may ask Google Play to show its standard in-app rating prompt. That prompt is presented and handled entirely by Google Play; we do not receive your rating, your review, or any information about whether you left one. Firebase Analytics collection is disabled in this app.
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can address it.
We do not sell your data. Information collected by third-party services described above (AdMob) is handled under those providers' own privacy policies, not by us directly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
